Nissan GT-R goes from wrecked to race-ready in 12 hours

Wrecking a race car is almost inevitable — between pushing against the competition and pushing your machinery to its limits, something is bound to happen eventually. Last Thursday, the number 22 NISMO GT3 team learned that the hard way during qualifying for the While headed for the legendary Eau Rouge corner, one of the GT-R’s tires was punctured, causing the car to head straight for a barrier.

The team had only 40 hours to take the car apart, assess the damage and then put it back together; they only needed 12. Check out the team’s condensed all-night thrash above.
